BHS Hunger Drive Oct. 2 - Nov. 9

Sep 28, 2017

The annual Student Hunger Drive is approaching and Bettendorf High School needs your help to reach our goal of 65,000 pounds of canned goods donated to the River Bend Foodbank. Starting October 2rd and ending November 9th there will be canned good collection boxes at both 53rd and Devil’s Glen Hy-Vee and Fareway. Along with donations, BHS will be hosting benefit nights at some of your favorite restaurants. Listed below are benefits and other events you can participate in. A flyer will be sent out in your newspaper with more information, including most valuable foods and participating schools. Your donations will not only help Bettendorf High School win a fifth consecutive Student Hunger Drive Champion title, but provide for families in our area with over 405,000 meals.
