Come to Buffalo Wild Wings on Wednesday, October 4th to help raise money for the Hunger Drive. The fundraiser will last all day. Make sure to bring in a flyer and tell your server you are there for BHS. 10% of the proceeds that day will go to the Student Hunger Drive. Come eat some wings and help to end Quad Cities hunger.

Sign ups began for Juniors only for the PSAT, which will be given Wednesday, October 11th. Sign up begins today, September 27th for Sophomores for the PSAT. The last day to sign up is Tuesday, October 3rd. The cost is $16, payable by CHECK ONLY, made out to BHS. See Mrs. Henson in Student Services for sign-up, payment, and an instruction/practice booklet.

If any students are interested in attending the DM Roosevelt or CR Washington tournaments, the deadline to sign-up is fast approaching. Please come to Room D105 and sign up before Wednesday, October 4th. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Rankin. Thank you.

Fresh Films will be coming to BHS on Monday during PRIDE. This opportunity will exposes you to the multitude of STEM and arts careers in the $771B entertainment industry, using the fun and relevance of film, to build knowledge and interest! Learn about set design, cinematography, casting, directing, special effects and producing actual films. If you are interested in shooting movies for youtube, video games, or feature films, this is the spot for you! Sign up for PRIDE this Monday in the Planetarium under Mrs. Thompson's name.

Science Club will be meeting on Tuesday (10/3) after school in Mr. Koepnick's room, D317, from 3:30 pm to 4:00 pm. Bring Friends!

German Club will meet after school today (10/2) in Room D270. We will play some card games. If you intend to go on the field trip next Tuesday to the German American Hertiage Center, please bring $3.00 to Frau Steiner by Friday, October 6th.

Bettendorf GSA is cancelled tonight (10/2) due to Metrofest.

Scholastic Bowl will meet in Mr. Hopkins room after school tomorrow (10/3) in D265.

All boys and girls interested in spring tennis should attend a short informational meeting on Tuesday Oct 3rd right after school in the PE Classroom by the gym. If you can't make the meeting, see Coach Edwards in Student Services.
