All students interested in coming out for wrestling this season there will be a short informational meeting on Thursday immediately after school or Friday morning at 8 am. Both meetings will be in the PE classroom F200. You need to only attend one of the meetings.
Over 200 pairs of shoes, jerseys/uniforms, and 31 cell phones have officially reached Mission Starfish Haiti as of a couple weeks ago. These items donated from BHS and Grant Wood students to Mission Starfish Haiti have officially not only made it to Haiti but have been handed out among the students. Thank you to all who donated to this cause. We have pictures of students from the Mission Starfish School itself wearing your old shoes. Instead of collecting dust in your garage, your old shoes are now making a huge difference is some little Haitian child's life. Thank you to all who donated.

On Friday the 13th during PRIDE Bettendorf Grad, Matthew Speak, will be talking about his new suspenseful and spooky book series "Bettendorf Tales". Devil's Glen, the first in the series, is available for check out in the library.

Come and join the UBett Robotics team on Thursday October 12th for a night of trivia in the BHS Commons. The cost is $10 per player and there are 8 people per table. Get your team of 8 together and stop by. Doors open at 6:30 pm and trivia starts at 7 pm. Bring your own snacks! All proceeds go to the UBett Robotics team.
Iowa Supreme Court Justice Waterman will visit Bettendorf High School this Friday, (10/13). He will be hosting a Q and A about the Iowa Supreme Court, your civil liberties and the law profession career opportunities in general. This PRIDE offering will be held in the Commons.
