The National Youth Science Camp is seeking two Iowa high school seniors to attend the National Youth Science Camp this summer in the mountains of West Virginia and visit Washington, D.C. to exchange ideas with scientists and other professionals from academic, governmental and corporate worlds. This camp includes lectures, overnight outdoor trips into the Monongahela National Forecast, and a trip to Washington, D.C. The students meet scientists and students from across the nation and experience hands-on research projects as part of this life-changing program. Learn more and apply at http://apply.nysc.org. Congratulations to the boys swim team for their 3rd place finish at the state meet Saturday. Caleb Aman won his 4th and 5th state titles by winning the 200 Individual Medley and the 200 Free Relay. Joining him on the school record and All American relay were Charlie Bunn, Luke Nickles, and Andrew Ottavianelli. The boys would like to thank the entire school for their support this season.

Student council election packets are now out! If you are interested in being part of a group that runs the hunger drive, homecoming, and various other school based activities, pick up an election packet at the activities office today. Packets are due on February 15th (2/15).
