German Club will meet after school today (3/5), March 5th in D270. We will have a game night and snacks will be provided.

Wednesday, March 7th (3/7) is Spread the Word to End the Word, a national event to put an end to the use of the word retard(ed). Take the pledge this week during A or B Lunch in the cafeteria to not say the R-Word! Let’s put an end to that word and spread the new r-word, respect!

Environmental Club will meet after school today (3/5) in room C300. Students will be working on the greenhouse project

Congratulations to the Speech and Debate Team for their performance at this weekend's IFL State tournament. The team returned with 8 trophies, including:

Lilli Ambort - 6th in Informative Speaking and 4th in Student Congress
Rebecca Davis - 6th in Oral Interpretation
Andrew Del Vecchio - 3rd Place Speaker in Public Forum Debate
Andrew Del Vecchio and Yash Singh - 2nd Place in Public Forum Debate
Logan Quick - 6th Place in Domestic Extemporaneous Speaking
Yash Singh - 4th Place in International Extemporaneous Speaking and 10th Place Speaker in Public Forum Debate

The Speech and Debate Team will be meeting after school to discuss taking pictures for the National Qualifier board and for the upcoming Midwest Novice Championship event.All members should attend.Thanks!

Guess what BHS?!? The BHS annual Dance Marathon is coming up! The Dance Marathon is on Friday, March 23rd from 7 to 11PM. All proceeds from the night go to the Children's Miracle Network, so mark your calendar to have a great time!

Happy Monday BHS! We are starting our second week of National Honor Society’s Pennies for Patients fundraiser. Pennies for Patients is a nation-wide organization committed to raising money for leukemia and lymphoma research. Your donations provide funding for treatment research, and medical specialists have made progress in their fight against cancer while partnering with Pennies for Patients. Donate during your second block class to compete for a pizza party or Olive Garden luncheon. Let’s start our second week off strong BHS!
