Are you feeling stressed with finals and the end of the year approaching? Stop in the library from 7:30-8 am every morning this week to visit with one of the district's therapy dogs!

Those seniors who borrowed a book from Students Services for Early Childhood Guidance, Engineering Academy please return to Ms. Henson in Student Services or there will be a fine applied to your account.

Are you interested in music and dance? The BHS Marching Band is looking for you to be a part of the Color Guard for the fall marching band season. Anyone who is interested in finding out more information should sign up for Mr. Dynes PRIDE session today and/or Friday next week. All current and former members are also encouraged to attend to share information and help recruit new members. See Mr. Dynes if you have any questions.

Interested in registering to vote for this year’s midterm elections? Stop by in the commons or the library before school on Tuesday (22nd), or Wednesday(23rd) to register. You must be at least 17 and a half years old to register to vote, and must do so by the 25th. We’re looking for a couple volunteers to help out with registering students and raising interest, so contact Mrs. Heeringa in the library if you’re interested in helping.

PRIDE options for Thursday and Friday include some insight from two professionals in our community. If you are interested in journalism or politics, Jon Alexander, editor of the Quad City Times Opinion Page will be here on Thursday to talk about what he does and the career path in general. Bettendorf's Mayor Bobby Gallagher will be here on Friday sharing his experiences as both a litigator and his role in governance. Sign up for either or both through Mrs. Ahrens in Room C362.

Congratulations to Erin McQuillen for her 6th place leap at the state track meet this past weekend.

Congratulations to Grace Erpelding for her 2nd place finish in the discus with a new personal best toss. Grace was ranked 12th coming into the competition and threw four personal bests in a row to earn her runnerup finish.

Congratulations to the following students on their performance at the Special Olympics 50 Meter Dash. Jack Gilbride 6th Place, Riley Anderson 4th Place, Jacob Duran 3rd Place, Bridgette Weis 2nd Place, and Sarah Coughlin 1st Place

The Final Scholastic Bowl practice of the school year takes place tomorrow (5/22) after school in Ms. Conrad's room.
