Want to see your favorite teachers battle each other with baguettes? You're in luck! Baguette jousting is on Friday, May 11th during Pride. Put money in the jars of the teachers you want to see battle before and after school in the Commons until tomorrow, Wednesday (5/9).

Interested in BHS Girls Basketball? There will be a player meeting this Friday (5/11) May 11th for all athletes interested in playing. Meeting will be after school in the PE Room. Any questions email Coach Tritt.

The girls’ varsity tennis team battled hard yesterday and will compete in 5 third place matches today. Congratulations to Lydiah Kennedy, Mya Christensen, Dena Pyevich, Abby Harrington, Sydney Stout and Josie Ontiveros

The music department had a wonderful Friday and Saturday hosting the Iowa High School Music Association Large Group Contest. Wind Ensemble, Concert Choir and Chamber Orchestra all received top honors with division 1 superior rankings. String Orchestra, Symphonic Band, 9th Grade Band, Chorale and Bettendorf Singers received division 2 excellent rankings. All of the BHS choirs have their final Spring Concert tomorrow night at 7:00 pm in the PAC. The end of the year Band/Orchestra concert is Tuesday, May 15th at 7:00 pm.

Scholastic Bowl will meet in Sr. Hopkins room after school

This year's Variety Show is just around the corner! That's right, on May 18th come see your peers and favorite teachers show off talents such as singing, dancing, eating, and playing instruments. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the show begins at 7:00 pm in the Performing Arts Center. If you are interested in being part of the show but don't want to get on stage, you can design this year's program cover art.
