Next week The Doctor is In Session will take place during PRIDE on Thursday (10/11). The Medical students are going to do an interactive presentation on the relationship between taste and smell starting with a brief introduction to the cranial nerves and a brief overview of sensory physiology. Spots are limited so if you would like to reserve a spot please email Mrs. Cleppe or stop in student service to see Ms. Hoyt.

Fellowship of Christian Athletes Join us for our first event next Monday night (10/8). We'll meet at 6:00 p.m. at Assumption High School for "Fields of Faith," for a night of music and sharing with FCA huddles from other Quad City schools.

French Club meets today (10/5) after school in Ms. Conrad's room, D268.

There is a Quad Cities French Day event taking place this Sunday, October 7th from 1:30-4pm at Augustana College. Talk to Ms. Conrad if you are interested in attending.

Freshman, this is a reminder that you should be a using your planners on a daily basis. This means you should be bringing your planner to every class and actively recording your assignments.

If you are planning on entering the Cosmetology career field after graduation consider attending Capri College's Career Day! On this day you will get hand on experience for the different majors at Capri. There are limited seats, if you are interested in going see Mrs. Hoyt in Student Services.

If you are planning on taking the ACT Academy on December 8th and would be interested in doing an ACT prep class during PRIDE, come see Mrs. Hoyt in Student Services.

Sign up for the How to Rock A College Fair or Visit PRIDE session for Monday (10/8) to get all the tips and tricks. If you are planning on attending the College Fair at St. Ambrose next Monday this would be a great way to prepare.

The varsity and junior varsity girls triumphed in both divisions last night at the Sabre Invitational in Dewitt. The varsity placed four runners in the top 10. They were led by freshman Hannah Bientema, sixth, and junior Madison Temple, seventh. Senior Maggie Dixon and sophomore Stephanie Rice paced the JV team with a 1-2 finish along with four other runners. Next up is the MAC conference meet on October 11 in Clinton.
