St. Ambrose Teacher Education Department is hosting an Open House on Saturday, February 16th from 8:30 a.m.to 12:30 p.m. in their Rogalski Center. If you are interested in learning more about the Education Major at St. Ambrose you are encouraged you to attend. If you have questions, see Mrs. Hoyt in Student Services.

Congratulations to the Speech and Debate Team for their performance at the first District tournament of the season. Bettendorf won the Overall Districts Sweepstakes and qualified the following 6 students to the National tournament: Rebecca Davis, Jason Jiang, Logan Quick, Noah Rantilla, Yash Singh, and Daniel Wilkinson. These students will continue competing this June in Dallas, TX. Good luck!

FCCLA is selling Valentine grams!! For only $1 you can send chocolate kisses to your special someone. We will be selling these before and after school and during lunches today, Monday and Tuesday. These will be delivered on Valentine's Day at the end of 4th block. Let your boo know you're thinkin' of 'em - spend $1 on a Valentine Gram!

First impressions are everything in the real world and that includes the clothes you wear! Next week we will have a PRIDE session that shares how to dress to impress in the workforce! Learn this and more important skills about making the best impression you can to help you stand out. This "Dress for Success" PRIDE session will be on Tuesday, February 13th- make sure to sign up

Are you Interested in playing tennis this Spring season? We will have a player meeting on this Monday Feb. 11th (TODAY) at 3:35 pm in the PE classroom. All players need to attend or contact Coach Edwards if you can not attend.

For the first time ever, Bettendorf students will have the chance to face off against Pleasant Valley students in a sand volleyball tournament to determine the winner of the first ever Bett Valley Rally. The Bett Valley Rally will take place on Saturday, February 9th from 6-8 p.m. at the BettPlex. It is $10 per person and you can create a team of up to 7 people. Sign ups are now in the activities office along with the waivers. Both are due this Thursday(2/7).

The survey closes on Friday, February 8th so make sure to fill it out soon. Results will be sold in the commons Monday, February 11th through Friday February 15th for three dollars.
