All students if you’ve ever wanted to learn about filmmaking… now’s your chance! Fresh Films is a youth film program located on the campus of Augustana College. This Spring, students are invited to apply to be part of their film crew and help create a video & PSA for a local non-profit organization. You'll learn all about cameras, audio, and lighting while creating an uplifting story about a Quad City organization that positively impacts the community. No previous filmmaking experience is required and it’s FREE to participate! Students should apply by February 11th, at Fresh Films freshfilms.org/QCSB.

Students interested in healthcare careers, Scott Community College is hosting informational sessions on programs such as nursing, surgical and radiologic technology, sonography, dental assisting, CNA, EMT, and several other health related programs at their college. This will take place at the Belmont Campus this Thursday, February 7th from 5:30--7:30 in the Student Life Center. For additional information, stop in Student Services.

For the first time ever, Bettendorf students will have the chance to face off against Pleasant Valley students in a sand volleyball tournament to determine the winner of the first ever Bett Valley Rally. The Bett Valley Rally will take place on Saturday, February 9th from 6-8 p.m. at the BettPlex. It is $10 per person and you can create a team of up to 7 people. Sign ups are now in the activities office along with the waivers. Both are due this Thursday(2/7).

The survey closes on Friday, February 8th so make sure to fill it out soon. Results will be sold in the commons Monday, February 11th through Friday February 15th for three dollars. All proceeds go to the Class of 2020 prom. Don’t miss out on your chance to find your match at BHS!

French Club is having a Crepe Party this Friday(2/8) after school in Ms. Conrad's room. Please bring a topping to share!

The 2019 girls track season starts Monday, February 11th at 6 a.m. in the BHS gym. To practice, you must have a physical and current concussion form on file in the Activities Office.

Come out and support our Bulldog Wrestlers at home tonight as they attempt to qualify for one of the eight spots at the State Dual Championships, next Wednesday in Des Moines. North Scott competes against Ft Madison at 6pm and then we will wrestle the winner immediately following that dual. The winner of our dual punches their ticket to Dual State.
