BHS Students Earn German Proficiency Certificates

Thirty Bettendorf High School students recently earned A1 and A2 German certificates. Each spring German students at Bettendorf High School have the opportunity to take the A1 and A2 German Certificate exams. These exams are proctored at Bettendorf High School by the Goethe Institut, the cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany. The certificates are internationally recognized as documentation of the candidate's German proficiency level. They can be used at some colleges and universities for placement in a language program. The Goethe certificates are also beneficial for those who plan to work for German based companies to prove their language abilities.
