The Class of 2021 is hosting the annual March Madness basketball tournament on March 28th for 12-5. It is $5 per person with a maximum of 4 people to a team. Sign ups are in the activities office and are due back March 13th. Please ask a member of student council if you have any questions!
All items in the cubbies outside of the fitness center need to be removed by Thursday, March 12th, or they will be donated to GoodWill.
The March Mammal Madness wild card battle happened last night! The mongoose clamped down to eat a hissing cockroach, who startled the spotted skunk into spraying. The skunk defeats the mongoose!! It's not too late to turn in your brackets to Mrs. Hansen. Round 1 battles go down Wednesday night so all brackets need to be turned in by Wednesday to D313.

There are only a few more days to donate to the Pennies for Patients campaign to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We've raised around $1800 so far, but with a big push at the end can reach our goal of $3000. Ms. Tisue's class leads the competition with $441.46, with Ms. Law, Mr. Mesick, Ms. Burroughs, and Mr. Wilming rounding out the top 5. Together we can help fight blood cancer!

Author Tiffany D. Jackson will be visiting BHS on Thursday, April 23. Ms. Jackson is a critically acclaimed author and winner of the Walter Dean Meyers honor book, the Coretta Scott King new talent award and was nominated for an NAACP image award. There is a book club that will be reading her award winning book, Allegedly, before her visit. Stop in the library to see Mrs. Heeringa to pick up a copy.
