Great news coming out of state swimming and diving this past weekend. Mikayla Hughbanks took first place in diving. Teammate Sydney Hanson placed third in diving as well.

Spanish Club will meet in Mrs. Zimmerman's classroom after school today to practice our conversation skills by playing Jeopardy. All are welcome

Attention all Seniors, today and tomorrow there will be a mandatory meeting in the PAC during PRIDE on your cohort day. The meeting will only be about 15 minutes. All 100% online seniors you will be sent this information through your canvas shell or email.

Congratulations to our BHS Cheerleaders who placed 2nd in the 4A TimeOut Non-Stunt Division. In addition, the state created a new honor this season called "Spirit of Iowa." They calculated all divisions collectively for this "overall" award. BHS Cheerleaders ranked 6th in 4A which was really outstanding as there was only one other "non-stunt" team ranked ahead of us.

BHS is offering a travel opportunity to Scotland & England in the Summer of 2022 for current freshman, sophomore, and junior students. Ms. Woolley will be hosting an all virtual informational meeting Thursday, November 19th, at 7:15 after parent teacher conferences. Student Council will be hosting a Food Drop off on Saturday, November 21st from 10-2. We will be accepting non-perishable food items at the main entrance of BHS. All donations will go to the Riverbend Food Bank. Please ask a student council advisor if you have any other questions!

This week is Iowa College Application Week. Many colleges throughout the nation are offering FREE APPLICATIONS for this week only! Seniors- now is the time to apply! Find out more information here:

BVM is hosting a movie night on Friday, November 20th at 7pm in the PAC. They will be showing Just Mercy starring Michael B. Jordan. Admission is free and we hope to see you there!

For high school athletes who are planning on trying out for boys basketball today, all athletes will need to bring their own water bottles. Water fountains are unable to be used at school.

German Club will meet Tuesday, November 17th after school. We will be making lanterns for St. Martin's Day (German Halloween). Please bring a small empty cardboard container such as an oatmeal canister, cereal box, etc to decorate.
