BHS is offering a travel opportunity to Scotland & England in the Summer of 2022 for current freshman, sophomore, and junior students. Ms. Woolley will be hosting an all virtual informational meeting next Thursday, November 19th, at 7:15 after parent teacher conferences. Student Council will be hosting a Food Drop off on Saturday, November 21st from 10-2. We will be accepting non-perishable food items at the main entrance of BHS. All donations will go to the Riverbend Food Bank. Please ask a student council advisor if you have any other questions!

BVM is hosting a movie night on Friday, November 20th at 7pm in the PAC. They will be showing Just Mercy starring Michael B. Jordan. Admission is free and we hope to see you there!

The Quad City Minority Partnership (QCMP) is a collaborative team committed to developing and delivering culturally responsive educational programming to benefit Quad City minority and first generation 9th-12th grade students to foster academic, community service, social and civic leadership, and career empowerment. Attention all artistic and creative students! Art Club will be meeting after school this week today for Cohort A. We will meet in room E-103 and you are welcome to join at any time.

Attention all students wanted to be a part of the wrestling program this year. First of all it's not too late. See Coach Knight sometime this week so he can bring you up to speed. Practice officially starts Monday, Nov. 16th. Varsity will practice at 5:45am and JV will practice at 3:35pm. Again see Coach Knight in the gym or PE classroom this week if you are interested in wrestling this year.

Attention Best Buddies- There will be a Best Buddies Meeting today, November 12 at 7:55 in C102 for "A" Cohort and Friday, November 13th at 7:55 in C102 for "B" Cohort.

The BHS Theatre Department will be presenting their fall play, Selfie, Friday and Saturday, November 13th and 14th. The play will be presented virtually and tickets may be purchased online, the cost is per $15 per device. The link to purchase tickets will be included in your daily emailed announcements as soon as it is available. Please see Mrs. Howard with any questions.

Boys basketball tryouts will begin Monday November 16th and run through November 18th Freshmen will be from 6-8pm at BMS Varsity and Sophomores will be from 3:30-5:45 at BHS See Coach Clark, Hutton, or Koepnick if you have any questions

For high school athletes who are planning on trying out for boys basketball next week, all athletes will need to bring their own water bottles. Water fountains are unable to be use at school.
