Congratulations to the 55 new students inducted into the BHS French Honor Society!

The French Honor Society is an academic honor society established by the American Association of Teachers of French. This recognition is reserved for United States high school students who have maintained excellent grades in at least three semesters of French.

In order to be eligible for la Société Honoraire de Français, the student must have been enrolled in French II or a higher level at some point during the school year. The student must have earned all of the following:

  • Grade of A- or above in most recent French course.
  • Average of A- or above over last three terms of French.
  • Average of B- in all other courses over last three terms.
