Seniors headed to some kind of post-secondary training next school year--Iowa College Access Network (ICAN) offers assistance for filing the FAFSA. FAFSA becomes available on October 1st and any students considering attending Iowa or Iowa State should file by December 1st. Schedule an in-person appointment in Davenport on Fridays, starting October 1st. Schedule a virtual appointment via zoom (on Tuesdays & Thursdays). ICAN will be doing a virtual, state-wide Financial Aid presentation the night before FAFSA becomes available, on Thursday, September 30th at 6 pm. Join Bethany Children and Families as they present FLASH, a once a month Pride time focused on healthy you & healthy relationships.Sample topics include: Communication, Coercion & Consent, and how the body works. Juniors and Seniors interested in enrolling into a nursing program after high school have the opportunity to visit Trinity College of Nursing and Healthcare for a hands on lab experience! There are very limited spots and they will go fast. See Mrs. Hoyt to get the information to sign up!

Scotland & England Travel Opportunity: Fall enrollment is open for BHS's travel opportunity to Scotland & England in the Summer of 2022! Current sophomore, junior, and senior students are welcome to join. Ms. Woolley will be hosting an all virtual informational meeting Thursday, September 23rd at 7:15 after parent teacher conferences. The Iowa Department of Education notified us Friday, that in fact, public school districts with their own transportation services do fall under the CDC mandate/order that any passenger or driver must wear a mask at all times when riding/driving a bus.

Effective Wednesday, September 22nd all passengers must wear a mask when traveling to and from school, activities and athletic events using BCSD transportation. Thank you!

Fellowship of Christian Athletes starts up this Friday, 9/24, at 7:15am in Mrs. Farmer’s room, D301. Whether you are involved with sports or not, we would love to have you check out our group! See you Friday morning!

Freshmen: If you have not exchanged your Chromebook for a new one, please bring your old Chromebook to the library sometime this week to exchange it.
