When the temperatures dictate, students will be allowed to enter the building prior to 7:50 am through the MAIN ENTRANCE ONLY. The south doors will be open for entry beginning at 7:50. Students coming in early must remain in the commons until 7:50.

German Club is canceled for today. Our next meeting will be on Monday, 1/24.

Attention all students traveling with the England & Scotland trip this summer. There will be a brief meeting after school this Wednesday, 1/12, in Ms. Woolley's room (D101) at 12:05. If you cannot attend, please email Ms. Woolley

PV High School has invited BHS students to their annual Hawkeye Hometown Visit Virtual event, where alum share their experience about their journey to the University of Iowa and apply to medical school. Any students planning on attending Iowa for pre-med should plan to attend and sign up using this link:

SELL Crew is a student leadership group that focuses on welcoming students to BHS and is accepting applications from sophomores, juniors and seniors for 2nd semester. Congratulations to the boys swim team for their thrilling win over PV last Thursday. The #3 ranked Bulldogs beat the 6th ranked Spartans 89-81. The boys would like to thank everybody who came to the standing room only contest. The crowd was a major factor in our win.

Check on the flyer attached to the announcements today for an opportunity to explore Lock 15 with the Army Corps of Engineers. This opportunity will allow students to travel to the bottom of the chamber where you'll observe crews actively performing critical repairs to our aging inland waterway navigation infrastructure. If you're interested, let Mrs. Hoyt know by Friday, January 14th.
