There will be a required informational meeting during PRIDE on Friday, May 20th for all students traveling to England and Germany this summer. All students are required to attend. This includes seniors. Please make sure to adjust your schedules and sign up. The meeting will be in Ms. Wooley's room, D101.

Seniors:The Growl is looking for parting words from the class of 2022. What will you miss most about your high school experience? What are you looking forward to most about the next phase of your life? Do you have words of wisdom for underclassmen? If so, let us know. Have you ever wanted to dunk a science teacher? Some of your science teachers have volunteered to be dunked for a good cause! Donate to Mr. Mesick, Mr. Grannen, Mr. Koepnick, Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. Tisue, or Mrs. Bohnert in the main office or in their classrooms. The winner will be dunked at the Dance Marathon event Friday 5/20 at 7PM. Dance Marathon will start at 6PM. Admission to the event is $5, all proceeds go to the Children's Miracle Network, which helps children receiving cancer treatment.

Want to see your favorite teachers battle each other with baguettes? You're in luck! The Battle of the Baguettes is this Friday during PRIDE Time. Sign up for a teacher who is offering it if you're interested!

Looking for a great way to spend your summer? Conquest Drum and Bugle Corps is recruiting members for percussion, brass, and color guard for the 2022 summer season. Get top notch instruction, make friends, and perform and compete with other great musicians. Our next rehearsal is this Thursday, May 19 at 6:00 in Atkinson, IL. Want to hear a former Bett grad speak about her first year of college at Iowa State studying biology? Stephanie Rice will give a short presentation during PRIDE Thursday in Mrs. Hansen's room. Sign up on Flexisched. She will share about her research mutating zebrafish.

German Club will meet Monday, May 23rd after school. It's egg throwing competition day! Be prepared to throw hard boiled eggs without breaking them.

GSA club will meet on Monday, May 23rd in the library after school. The 8th graders will be joining us and we will hear from anyone wanting to be an officer next year. Don't forget the teacher recommendation form found here and snacks will be provided!
