The ACT college entrance exam test assesses high school students' general educational development as well as their ability to complete college-level work. ACT compares the scores of students who have completed a recommended college preparatory core program (including four years of English and three or more years of mathematics, social studies, and science). A score of a least 20 is a measure for probable post-secondary success.
